The 1/three HP submersible sump pump from Superior Pump will move up to 45 gallons of water per minute and has a 1 1/two FMPT discharge. This 1/three HP sump pump is produced of rugged cast iron for strength and durability and has a vertical automatic float on/off switch to keep it sleek when working in the narrow sumps. This pump is UL listed and has a effective, yet power efficient (4.1 amps) motor for longer life and durability.
1/3HP split capacitor motor - high efficiency - low draw, 100 percent cast iron construction, 10' grounded water proof power cord, pumps up to 46 gallons per minute, 2760 gallons per hour, side and bottom intake offers for clog resistant suction, vertical float switch with piggy back plug included, cooler operating 115V motor gives continuous duty, pump will lift water over 25 ft. vertical height, handles 3/8" solids, 1-1-two" female pipe discharge thread. 3 year warranty from Superior Pump Co.

I can't believe we did not purchase this item years ago! For 15 years we had a sump pump that under no circumstances worked the way it was supposed to I now know. We were operating downstairs in rainstorms to turn it on with a stick and off when the water drained, geez! We were leery to purchase I suppose mainly because we didn't realize you could get one particular that truly worked. It turns itself on and off and Operates beautifully. In my thoughts the Superior pump is wonderful!

I purchased this pump as a replacement for a pump that lasted 15 years so it is a difficult act to follow. I've only had it for a month, but so far, it is worked like a charm--kicks on and off when it must--discharges quickly and quietly. I also like the vertical float design as my pit is rather narrow and this way I do not have to worry about the float being impeded by the side of the pit. Cannot beat the worth for the value as nicely as the 3 year warranty.
