Essential a little pump to take away the accumulated water from the pool cover just after the snow melted. Worked in the pool sector for practically three decades and was familiar with the brand name so I ordered this 1 after reading a handful of favorable critiques. Yes some of the fundamental components are plastic (the little elbow pipe for attaching a hose on the best and the debris screen), but given correct care and handling, they must last for really a few years.
I was really impressed with the speed and ease of use of this tiny pump. It attaches perfectly to a standard garden hose and pumps water rather effectively. Our winter pillows collapsed and the winter cover sagged into the pool, collecting about two-three feet of water at the deepest point. We suspended the pump above the deepest point employing a rope tied across the pool and submerged it about a foot from the bottom to keep away from the leaves and pine cones at the bottom. For a 20' pool, we had been pumping out an typical of about three-four" per hour. Took one weekend to empty the issue to the point we could lift out the last bit of water and the debris on the bottom. There is no on/off switch so you basically plug it in to turn it on.

this pump has accomplished a terrific job in pumping out the accumulated rain from my pump cover. I have lots of leaves on the pool but the strainer attachment has kept
