My Daughter had a crisis brewing as her existing plastic import 'otec laundry pump thingy was not operating reliably and had flooded her basement a couple occasions. I did not discover anything suitable locally so decided to resolve the predicament with the Zoeller unit. I was in a circumstance that I "had to have it" for Saturday, as that was the only day that I could make it out her way. The seller was fairly responsive and I received it incredibly speedily. Unboxing the unit revealed a fairly great (heavy) American Created, high quality cast iron pump. It even has a brass plaque attached w/model number and so on. it looks so nice it certainly is a shame to stuff the factor below the sink.
Now it has been many months of common use. Daughter, truck driver hubby, and two tiny ones, ya you bet they do laundry. Absolutely no troubles, and do not honestly expect any. Yes, I agree the tub is a bit compact but it doesn't seeem to be an problem. I guess they do that so it WILL fit everywhere. I see the cost has come down some as I paid a little alot more for mine. I told the son-in-law if he sells the property he's taking it with. If my sump pump ever goes out I'm going to appear for this pump again.

I've had the pump for a month so far. It functions terrific. I have it beneath my laundry sink that my wash machine empties into. So far no concerns. Painless to put together. I had almost everything put together in 1 night. I have some general information of plumbing but I am by no signifies a plumber.
I do have a lint filter in the sink just to avoid any lint construct up in the pump. If I do have to take it apart it will be a discomfort. Not planning on taking it apart any time soon. I'd recommend this pump more than the pump I purchased preceding to this one at the box shops. The larger top quality of the Zoeller is apparent over the other brands.
