My prior pump went out. So I purchased a new one, and this examine valve, as I believed that the pump was operating as well tricky for the reason that it kept turning on, attempting to pump out just about every inch of water. But some of the water was flowing back into the sump box due to gravity. Due to the fact I got this examine valve, the pump turns off, and stays off till definitely necessary. I couldn't be happier with it.
I use this with the utility pump that I bought. It works effectively. Make sure you tighten the stainless steel clamps well.
