The product functions marvelous. The water hammer sound completely stopped. I would suggest this product for anybody with the sump sound!

I had somebody place in a new sump pump. I do not even believe the old method had a verify valve, but he place one in on the new system, which really should be carried out. The new sump worked fine, but we started to notice right after it completed its cycle there had been two loud "clunks". Which just after some investigation and investigation I located it was the verify valve closing, then the pressure in there creating a "water hammer" clunk. When you stood in the basement by the sump pump it didn't sound that bad. But it basically sounded worse as you went to the ground floor and 2nd floor as it echoed up there. It wasn't very bad. Bareable, but not desireable. I made mention of this to the guy who installed it. He told me he place in a decent superior verify valve, but I could tell he did not appear to know as significantly on this topic. So I researched on my own and located this one on-line, purchased it and asked him to install it for me. He seemed a small skeptical, but said he'd try it. It is awesome. There is barely a sound when it shuts now. I love it. So glad I located it.

Operates awesome!
Item operates great, it was simple to install. Nicely produced unit. Valve mechanism was rather quiet, like the name states. I would purchase this item once again.

It really is quiet!
Does what it says ... it is quiet. The thump every single time my sump pump shuts off is absolutely gone. I by no means thought it was the stupid verify valve producing all the noise.
