The SumpJet (Model SJ10) is a water powered back-up sump pump that will shield your basement in the case of a power outage. This exclusive item is powered by your municipal water supply and demands no electricity to operate. With a compact high efficiency design, the SumpJet removes 2-Gallon of sump water per 1-Gallon employed (based on five-Foot lift). The SumpJet is completely automatic, arrives completely assembled, and comes backed with Liberty's typical two year warranty. The SJ10 requires an uninterrupted water source to operate.
The Liberty SumpJet model SJ10 sump pump is an automatic water powered emergency backup sump pump system (do not use in hot water). It utilizes no electrical energy and functions with the city water pressure. Is the perfect economical standby to any brand of electrical sump pump. Created for residential use in clear water only, is not created to take away waste water, sewage, effluent, or water with debris in it.

Buyer Evaluations

I have installed a few of these type of pumps now and have consistently found matters with the float mechanism. Ahead of getting the Liberty, I posted a question to them and received a telephone call inside 2 hours exactly where the tech spent more than 20 minutes talking to me about the item and prospective points of failure and ease of repair in case of failure. I was very impressed and purchased the pump - easy installation, operates pretty reliably (in test mode - hope it by no means actually has to pull the load of a failed key pump), and need to offer years of difficulty-no cost service.

Never posted a assessment, but felt the want to disagree with one other review that complained about the noise of this product. Just had a single installed, and had to fill the pit to test the pump. We could not figure out why it took so lengthy, but realized the pump was operating when we felt the discharge pipe. You can hear it when it stops, but nothing at all to complain about, and it is a back-up pump...
